Our second Renegade Gay Shit event is rooted in nostalgia, expression, and the kind of emotion that refuses to stay quiet. Emo has always lived at the intersection of vulnerability and rebellion. And queerness knows that space well.
This night is about screaming the lyrics that raised you, feeling everything all at once, and remembering that being seen is its own kind of resistance. We want you to dance like your teenage self finally feels safe. We want you to lock eyes with strangers who know every word too.
The night unfolds inside an immersive, two room experience with an emo dance floor filled with nostalgic anthems to sing and scream along to and a live art gallery where creation happens in real time slow, intentional, and raw
Six artists working from start to finish, turning process into performance:
– Tuff Peach creating stained glass piece
– Rinchantress creating a freehand full body collection of tattoos
– Bodacious Bugs pinning insects and building shadow boxes with skulls and florals
– Baylee Moon Spear pulling an etching print from beginning to end
– Glitch Soup sewing a bag before your eyes
A space to witness art the way we watch sports focused, patient, and in awe of the skill it takes.
In times like these, building real, visible, embodied community isn’t optional… it’s essential. When systems fail us, when laws and culture try to erase us, when isolation feels easier than hope, the most radical thing we can do is find each other. Renegade Gay Shit was born from that need: a desire for queer people of all ages, colors, genders, and identities to gather, connect, and remember that we are powerful together.
This city has queer spaces, but not enough that center all of us. Not enough room for lesbians, trans folks, nonbinary people, bi and queer humans to feel fully seen, celebrated, and safe to take up space. So we’re making our own.
Our second Renegade Gay Shit event is about starting with play and pleasure, because joy is a form of resistance. We want you to meet friends you haven’t met yet. We want you to dance with strangers who might become chosen family. We want you to experience queerness not just as identity, but as art, movement, and shared energy.
The night unfolds inside an immersive, art space with:

• Tarot readings
• Live body painting
• Shibari tying and a suspension display
• Art installations everywhere you turn
• And a couple surprises up our sleeves
This isn’t just a party. It’s a living, breathing queer art experience. It’s a space to connect, flirt, dance, and exist without shrinking.
