Renegade Gay Shit is funded entirely by two organizers who covered the venue, lighting, DJs, security, equipment and performers out of pocket, tickets are limited and truly keep this event alive.
Ticket Cost
We believe queer community should be accessible and sustainable. Choose the tier that fits your situation right now:
Tickets to go to the Potentialist when no event is happening is $20. The body painting, tarot, and shibari, and other experiences are free with your ticket. Based on that, this is the pricing we have come up with.
$30-35 – Community Rate
For folks who want to come but need a lower-cost option. This covers your entry and helps us keep the event accessible.
$40-45 – Supporter Rate (includes merch!)
For folks who can afford a little extra and want to help make this event happen again.
Includes a Renegade Gay Shit sticker at the door + helps pay our artists and DJs.
$15–$25 – Volunteer Rate
For folks who want to donate time instead of money. We have 8 spots available for this option.
You’ll work 1-2 hours at the check-in or sales table during the event.
You must reach out to Renegade Gay Shit staff in advance to secure this option.
$1+ – Donations
For anyone who cant attend, doesn’t live near by, or just wants to support our dream. You can also make a donation. When sending donations on venmo please write “donation” in the description.
Why we encourage $40-$45 tickets
The venue ticket numbers limited to the capacity of the venue and this event is fully self-funded. The venue, lighting, DJs, security, equipment and performers were all paid upfront by the organizers, and we’re committed to paying our artists fairly. While we offer lower-cost and volunteer options to keep this space accessible, the $45 Supporter tickets are what make Renegade Gay Shit sustainable. If you’re able to choose that tier, you’re not just buying a ticket, you’re helping us cover real costs, support queer artists, and make sure we can do this again.
How to Pay
To purchase your ticket, send the appropriate amount via Venmo to @renegadegayshit. In the comment/memo field, please write “Ticket” or “# Tickets” if buying multiple so we can properly track your payment. Once your payment is received, your name will be added to the door list for entry.
Tickets are first come, first served. Once we reach capacity, ticket sales will be closed.
